CM Dhami Approves Development Works Worth ₹135 Crore for Uttarakhand

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial sanctions worth nearly ₹135 crore for development works and departmental schemes across various districts of the state.

The government has also taken a major decision in the education sector by approving the release of ₹84.89 crore as the second installment for reimbursement of fees for children studying in private schools under the RTE Act for the financial year 2025–26.

The Chief Minister directed that the sanctioned funds should be utilized in a timely, transparent, and standards-based manner so that public welfare-related works can progress rapidly.

The Chief Minister approved ₹79.87 lakh for the remaining work of the under-construction Parvatiya Vikas Bhawan in Sitarganj, Udham Singh Nagar, and ₹20.41 lakh for construction of a shed at the martyr memorial site in Khatima.

Similarly, ₹49.86 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction and beautification of the Nag Devta Temple in Virad village of the Dhanaulti region in Tehri Garhwal district, while ₹98.59 lakh has been approved for beautification of the Surya Devi Temple at Palethi Bangar in the Devprayag region.

Additionally, the Chief Minister approved ₹35 lakh for restoration and beautification of historical buildings in Dantu village of Dharchula area in Pithoragarh district.

Chief Minister Dhami also approved the release of ₹2.75 crore for expenditure of Dr. R.S. Tolia Uttarakhand Academy of Administration and ₹7.57 crore for the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission.

Along with this, approval has been granted for releasing ₹35.74 crore to various establishments of the Police Department as 50 percent of the allocated budget provision. The Chief Minister also approved the release of ₹1 crore for the Home Guards Department.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has also approved naming the Molan-Khandah-Bhintai motor road in Pauri Garhwal district after martyr Kamal Singh Negi.
