CM Dhami Assures Action on Revenue Village Status and Land Rights During Public Interaction in Khatima

Khatima: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted with residents during a public outreach and “Chief Servant Public Dialogue” program in the border village of Bagga-54 in Khatima. He listened to local grievances and assured positive action regarding demands for revenue village status and land rights.

Residents welcomed the Chief Minister in a traditional manner. In his address, he highlighted the achievements of the Central Government over the past 12 years and various development initiatives undertaken by the State Government.

CM Dhami said that the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), first implemented in Uttarakhand, would strengthen the principles of equal rights and equal justice across the country. Comparing it to the Ganga River originating from Gangotri, he remarked that it would eventually connect and benefit the entire nation.

He described the anti-cheating law as a historic step to protect the future of young people, noting that more than 100 examination mafias have been jailed and over 33,000 youths have secured government jobs through transparent recruitment processes.

The Chief Minister assured villagers that the government remains committed to the development of border areas, expansion of basic facilities, and protection of public interests.

Inspection of International Kayaking Competition Preparations

After the Khatima program, CM Dhami visited Gadarpur to inspect preparations for the proposed International Kayaking and Canoeing Competition. He reviewed security arrangements, athlete accommodation, spectator facilities, parking, sanitation, medical services, and other logistics, directing officials to ensure timely completion of all preparations. MLA Arvind Pandey accompanied him during the inspection.

Press Conference in Rudrapur

Meanwhile, at the BJP district office in Rudrapur, Cabinet Minister and District In-Charge Minister Pradeep Batra addressed a press conference organized on the occasion of the Central Government completing 12 years in office. He highlighted the government’s achievements and welfare schemes, stating that the Modi Government has established a new model of development and good governance.
