Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Shiv Mahapuran Katha organised by the Shri Radha Krishna Temple Committee at the Community Hall in Defence Colony. On the occasion, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Lord Shiva and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and good health of the people of the state.
The Chief Minister said that spiritual events such as the Shiv Mahapuran Katha spread positive energy, moral values and cultural awareness in society. Such events not only preserve our rich Sanatan traditions and cultural heritage but also serve as an important means of connecting the younger generation with spiritual and cultural values.
He said that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is known for its spiritual consciousness and rich cultural traditions. The state government is continuously working to promote religious and cultural events across the state. Such events help strengthen cultural heritage while also fostering a spirit of mutual harmony and goodwill in society.
The Katha Vyas and office-bearers of the Shri Radha Krishna Temple Committee welcomed and felicitated the Chief Minister. A large number of devotees and local residents were present on the occasion.
