Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his greetings to the people of the state on Hindi Diwas. He stated that Hindi is a symbol of our cultural emotions, aspirations, and ideals. Hindi is not merely a medium of communication, but also the identity of our civilization, culture, and Indian ethos.
The Chief Minister said that while strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation, Hindi also reinforces the spirit of unity in diversity. Hindi has played a vital role in connecting Indian society and awakening social consciousness. Even during the freedom struggle, Hindi worked to bind citizens into a single thread.
He reiterated that the state government is making continuous efforts for the preservation, promotion, and encouragement of Hindi. Preserving the honor and respect of Hindi is everyone’s responsibility. The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens of the state to pledge to use Hindi more in their daily lives on Hindi Diwas and actively contribute to the honor and development of the official language, Hindi.
