Dehradun: Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday participated in the “Voluntary Cleanliness” program organized by the Municipal Corporation, Dehradun at Ballupur Chowk. During this, he himself took part in the cleanliness drive and gave a message to the people of the state to remain aware about cleanliness.
This special campaign, conducted by the Municipal Corporation, Dehradun from April 7 to April 13, 2026, aimed to make the city clean, beautiful, and healthy. Under the campaign, cleaning drives, waste disposal, and awareness programs were organized in various wards.
The Chief Minister said that cleanliness cannot be achieved solely through government efforts; public participation is extremely important. He appealed to people to take responsibility for keeping their homes, neighborhoods, and cities clean, as only then can lasting change be achieved.
Appreciating the campaign, CM Dhami said that such participatory programs play an important role in bringing positive change in society. He suggested that such campaigns should be conducted regularly to maintain awareness about cleanliness.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Khajan Das, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal, MLA Savita Kapoor, Organization General Secretary Ajey Kumar, and other public representatives were present.
