CM Dhami Launches Farmer-Centric ‘Manorama Krishi Rakshak’ Mobile App

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday launched the farmer-centric mobile application ‘Manorama Krishi Rakshak’, developed by the Manorama Dabral Jan Kalyan Samiti, at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office.

Describing the app as useful for farmers and self-help groups, the Chief Minister congratulated the organisation for the initiative. He said that the effective use of modern technology could make essential agricultural information and services more easily accessible to farmers.

According to office-bearers of the committee, the app aims to provide farmers with real-time weather information and alerts, crop-specific agricultural advisories, AI-based crop disease identification, agricultural and market-related information, as well as transportation and freight-related services on a single platform.

The app also includes features designed to connect self-help groups and rural enterprises with markets. According to the committee, the application has been developed keeping in mind the practical needs of farmers, with the aim of providing technological support from agricultural production to market access.

Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, office-bearers of the Manorama Dabral Jan Kalyan Samiti and others were present on the occasion.
