Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid a heartfelt tribute to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary by offering floral tributes to his portrait at the Chief Minister’s residence.
The Chief Minister said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a devoted patriot, nationalist thinker, distinguished orator, renowned poet and vigilant guardian of democratic values. Throughout his public life, he gave the highest priority to national service, good governance, national unity and democratic ideals.
He said that Atal Ji established high standards and values in politics. Along with strengthening India’s democratic traditions, he made a significant contribution to establishing India as a strong nation on the world stage.
The Chief Minister said that Atal Ji’s visionary thinking, simple and approachable personality, and dedication to the national interest will always be remembered. His life and work will continue to remain a source of inspiration for the people of the country.
