Chamoli: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday conducted a detailed review of development works under the Badrinath Dham Master Plan at the BRO Guest House in Chamoli. Through a PPT presentation, the progress of construction work, technical aspects, and future plans were thoroughly examined.
Executive Engineer Yogesh Manral briefed the Chief Minister about the status and progress of projects under the Master Plan. These include strengthening infrastructure, expanding pilgrim facilities, improving transportation व्यवस्था, and developing modern amenities. The Chief Minister sought detailed information and issued necessary directions.
He said that the Badrinath Master Plan is being implemented in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, aiming to develop the shrine into a grand, divine, safe, and modern pilgrimage destination. Providing better and व्यवस्थित experiences to devotees is a top priority of the government.
Strict instructions on quality and deadlines
The Chief Minister directed officials to complete all works within the निर्धारित timeline without compromising on quality. He emphasized transparency, technical efficiency, and regular monitoring to ensure both speed and quality.
Pilgrim सुविधा is top priority
He stressed that safety, convenience, and smooth movement of pilgrims should be the highest priority. He directed rapid implementation of plans to improve transport, accommodation, cleanliness, drinking water, and parking facilities. He also emphasized preserving the traditional character, religious significance, and natural beauty of the shrine during development.
He instructed all departments to work in coordination and ensure quick resolution of any obstacles or delays so that the overall development of Badrinath progresses smoothly. He expressed confidence that with the joint efforts of the central and state governments, all projects under the Master Plan will be successfully completed.
