New Delhi: The Delhi Police has assigned new and additional responsibilities to five IPS officers in a fresh administrative reshuffle covering key wings, including Operations, Intelligence and Security-related functions, Economic Offences, Traffic, Welfare and the Legal Cell.

The latest changes involve both fresh postings and additional charges for senior officers. Chinmoy Biswal, Eish Singhal, Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Vikas Kumar and Isha Singh have been given new or additional responsibilities as part of the latest administrative arrangements.

Chinmoy Biswal Gets Additional Charge of IPSO

Chinmoy Biswal (IPS: 2008), currently serving as Joint Commissioner of Police (Operations), has been assigned the additional charge of Joint Commissioner of Police, IPSO.

Biswal will continue to discharge his existing responsibilities as Jt. CP/Operations while also overseeing the functions associated with the IPSO assignment.

Eish Singhal Posted as Additional CP, EOW

Eish Singhal (IPS: 2010) has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

The EOW handles cases related to financial and economic offences and is an important component of the Delhi Police’s specialised investigative structure.

Singhal, a 2010-batch IPS officer, will now oversee the wing as Additional CP.

Dinesh Kumar Gupta Gets Additional Charge of Traffic

Dinesh Kumar Gupta (IPS: 2010), currently serving as Additional Commissioner of Police, DPHCL, has been assigned the additional charge of Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic.

Gupta will continue in his existing role while also overseeing the Traffic wing, which is responsible for traffic regulation, enforcement and road safety across the national capital.

Vikas Kumar Posted as DCP, Traffic

Vikas Kumar (IPS: 2013) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic.

The 2013-batch IPS officer will join the Delhi Police Traffic wing, which handles traffic management, enforcement and road-safety measures across the city.

His posting comes alongside the additional responsibility assigned to Dinesh Kumar Gupta at the Additional CP level.

Isha Singh Gets Additional Charge of Legal Cell

Isha Singh (IPS: 2021), currently serving as DCP/Welfare, has been assigned the additional charge of DCP/Legal Cell.

Singh will continue to handle her existing responsibilities as DCP/Welfare while also overseeing the Legal Cell.

Five IPS Officers Get New or Additional Responsibilities

The latest reshuffle brings changes across several important wings of the Delhi Police. While some officers have been given fresh postings, others have been assigned additional charges alongside their existing responsibilities.
