Dehradun: On Thursday, the foundation stone of multipurpose buildings was laid at the Lok Bhavan complex in Dehradun. Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami jointly inaugurated this important project.
These buildings will bring various essential facilities together in one location. As per the plan, the first building will house an integrated dispensary with Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, and Allopathic treatment rooms. The second building will include an information center and cafeteria, the third will accommodate the Public Works Department office, and the fourth will house the Horticulture Department office.
The construction will follow traditional hill architecture, preserving and promoting local culture and identity.
The Governor said that having all facilities in one campus will make operations more organized and efficient, benefiting both employees and the general public with faster services.
Chief Minister Dhami described the project as a significant step toward good governance, stating that integrated infrastructure will strengthen administrative coordination and ensure timely delivery of quality services.
