IPS Govind Gupta Promoted to DGP Rank

Jaipur: The government of Rajasthan has promoted IPS officer Govind Gupta of the 1993 batch to the rank of Director General of Police.
Mr. Gupta is currently serving as the Additional Director General of Police for Planning, Modernization, and Welfare, and he will continue in this position until further orders.
With IPS Govind Gupta’s promotion, the number of DGPs in the cadre has increased to eight.
