Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the organizers of the “India Digital Empowerment Meet and Award” at his residence on Thursday. Various important aspects of the event were discussed in detail.
He emphasized the importance of such events in today’s time, where experts can deliberate on Artificial Intelligence (AI), technology, and science. He expressed confidence that the conference would provide new direction to digital development in the state and the country.
The Chief Minister noted that Uttarakhand holds strategic and tourism importance, attracting over 60 million pilgrims and tourists annually, which strengthens the state’s economy. He highlighted immense potential in tourism, film shooting, and investment due to its natural beauty and cultural diversity.
He also said that the government is focusing on developing Uttarakhand as a wedding destination, with modern facilities and attractive locations making it ideal for destination weddings.
