Dehradun: A high-level review meeting on the availability of LPG in the state was held at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan.
Officials informed that adequate LPG stock is available in Uttarakhand and supply to consumers is being ensured as per demand.
The Chief Secretary directed district magistrates to ensure that gas supply is not disrupted under any circumstances.
He also issued strict instructions to prevent black marketing of LPG and other essential commodities, directing authorities to conduct regular raids, stock inspections and monitoring drives to curb illegal sales and hoarding.
Officials were further instructed to maintain close coordination with gas companies and distributors to ensure smooth supply and effective monitoring.
