Uttarakhand to become a hub for film shooting: Dhami and Prasoon Joshi meet; discuss cinema, literature, and mountain culture

Dehradun. Lyricist and Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Prasoon Joshi paid a courtesy call on Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Chief Minister Dhami praised Prasoon Joshi’s remarkable contributions to literature and cinema. During the meeting, various topics related to art, culture, literature, and cinema were discussed in detail.

The meeting also discussed Uttarakhand’s cultural heritage, folk art, folk music, and the potential for film production in the state. The Chief Minister stated that the Uttarakhand government is continuously striving to develop the state as a hub for film production and shooting. The necessary policy support and facilities are being provided.

The Chief Minister commended Prasoon Joshi for his work as Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification and expressed his expectation for future cooperation in expanding cinema, literature, and cultural activities in Uttarakhand.
