Dehradun: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Parmendra Singh Dobal has ordered a major reshuffle of inspectors in the district to strengthen law and order and improve policing efficiency. According to the transfer order, several officers posted in police stations and branches have been assigned new responsibilities. All transfers have been implemented with immediate effect.
Under the new postings:
- Inspector Yashpal Singh Bisht has been transferred from the Reserve Police Line and appointed as Station House Officer (SHO) of Rishikesh Kotwali.
- Inspector Kailash Chandra Bhatt has been shifted from Rishikesh Kotwali and assigned charge of Kotwali Nagar.
- Inspector Hariom Raj Chauhan has been transferred from Kotwali Nagar to head the Election Cell at the Police Office.
- Inspector Rakesh Gusain has been appointed SHO of Doiwala Kotwali from the Reserve Police Line.
- Inspector Kamal Kumar Lunthi has been transferred from Doiwala and posted as the officer-in-charge of Raivala Police Station.
- SHO Santosh Singh Kunwar has been moved from Dalanwala Kotwali to the Complaint Cell Branch.
- Inspector Narendra Singh Gehlawat has been transferred from the Complaint Cell Branch and given charge of Dalanwala Kotwali.
SSP Dobal directed all officers to assume charge at their new postings immediately. He stated that the reshuffle was carried out in view of administrative requirements and the need for more effective policing.
The transfers follow recent changes in responsibilities at the state level involving IPS, PPS, and PCS officers, making this one of the significant administrative reorganizations within the Dehradun Police.
