Dehradun: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to the great educationist and former President of India, Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, at the Chief Minister’s residence by offering floral tributes and remembering him with reverence.
The Chief Minister said that Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s life remains a source of inspiration for Indian education, culture and human values. His personality and contributions continue to inspire teachers and students even today.
Extending Teachers’ Day greetings to all teachers in the state, the Chief Minister said that teachers enrich the younger generation with knowledge, values and life skills while guiding them in the right direction. He said that the role of teachers is extremely important in nation-building and the development of society.
