CM Dhami Attends Sahaspur Public Service Camp, Orders Immediate Resolution of Public Grievances

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the “Government for Every Citizen, at Every Doorstep” public service camp organised under the “Seva, Good Governance and Dedication” campaign at Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Sahaspur, on Saturday.

The Chief Minister said the government’s objective is to spare citizens the inconvenience of visiting government offices repeatedly by delivering public services directly at their doorstep.

He informed that more than 1,000 people registered at the camp and availed themselves of various government schemes. He added that during the first phase of the campaign, around 700 public service camps were organised across Uttarakhand, attracting participation from more than 500,000 people. During the ongoing Seva Pakhwada, over 64,000 citizens have participated in such camps and thousands of public grievances have been resolved.

Describing good governance as responsive and accountable administration, the Chief Minister said Uttarakhand is achieving new milestones in development under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, particularly in roads, healthcare, education, tourism, industry, investment, and air connectivity. He also highlighted the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, the anti-copying law, and the government’s zero-tolerance policy against corruption.

During the camp, the Chief Minister personally heard public grievances and directed officials to take time-bound action in several cases. These included installing 30 solar streetlights in Karbari Grant within two months, providing a sewing machine to a woman beneficiary, improving roads and drainage in Selaqui, constructing a cremation ground in Bhauwala, resolving land settlement issues, developing a public park and open gym, and providing a rural dispensary and ambulance service.

The event was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MLA Sahdev Singh Pundir, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan, Senior Superintendent of Police Parmendra Dobal, and other public representatives and officials.
