Uttarakhand Prepares for Large-Scale Transfers Across Government Departments

Dehradun: With the transfer season nearing its end, the Uttarakhand government has intensified preparations for large-scale transfers of officers and employees across several departments. Transfer lists for multiple departments have reportedly been finalized at the government level, and official orders are expected to be issued soon.

According to sources, the transfer process in departments such as Education, Health, Public Works Department (PWD), and Irrigation has reached its final stage. Departments have already submitted details regarding eligible employees, vacant posts, and postings in both remote and accessible areas to the state government.

Considering the delay in this year’s transfer process, the state government extended the transfer deadline from June 10 to June 30, allowing departments additional time to complete pending transfer formalities.

Reports suggest that discussions regarding both request-based and mandatory transfers have been completed in several departments. Following departmental approval, the lists are now awaiting final clearance from the state government.

Once the transfer orders are issued, significant changes are expected in the responsibilities and postings of government officers and employees across various districts of Uttarakhand. The government’s objective is to complete the transfer process in a timely manner while ensuring administrative efficiency and serving the public interest.
